I have built my career in IT since 1994, starting in China, continuing 15 years in Japan, and the last 10 years in Sweden. During these three decades I have worked in diverse industries including telecom, finance, robotics, and production management, taking roles from system developer to project manager.

My technical background covers C++, C#, Python, SQL and Shell scripting, combined with strong experience on UNIX/Linux/Windows platforms. I have also used Python with Selenium for browser automation, which I see as a good foundation for test automation frameworks.

Through my long development career I have become very familiar with the full software lifecycle, including specification, design, coding, and all testing phases: unit, integration, system, and performance testing. Debugging complex issues has always been one of my strongest skills.

Interests

Outside of work, photography is a big part of my life—from everyday moments to small studio setups. I enjoy creating high-quality images and the process of digital darkroom editing.

When I can, I head outdoors for hikes in forests, by lakes, or along the coast. I also camp occasionally and love looking up at a night sky free from light pollution, which always brings me a sense of calm. Indoors, I keep up with current affairs and enjoy comparing the histories of different countries and regions in the same era.
